About Dr. Hjh. Siti Aidah Binti Haji Lukin @Lokin

Dr. Hjh. Siti Aidah Binti Haji Lukin @ Lokin was born on 13 December 1969 in Beaufort, Sabah. She holds a Master’s Degree in History and is currently the Deputy Dean (Academic) of the Centre for the Promotion of Knowledge and Language Learning at University Malaysia Sabah.

One of the publications of her research is “Sejarah dan Sosiobudaya Masyarakat Peribumi Sabah”, and is the author of the “Perubahan Sosioekonomi dan Pentadbiran Masyarakat Pribumi Sabah (1881-1963)” book published by the Publishing Unit, University Malaysia Sabah. In addition, she also wrote various articles related to the Socio-Cultural of the Bisaya Community.

Dr. Hjh. Siti Aidah Binti Haji Lukin @ Lokin presented papers in various seminars at the National and International Levels. She had also received the Sabah Literary Prize 1998/99 (Poetry) and 2004/2005 (Essay and Criticism).
