Meet Awang Abdul Muizz bin Awang Marusin 

About Awang Abdul Muizz bin Awang Marusin

Born on June 13, 1994, in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, he is a lecturer at the Industrial Training Institute, Kota Kinabalu, since December 2021. He is also a Master's degree student (Public Administration) at Universiti Malaysia Sabah since February 2018.

He completed his studies at the International Islamic University Malaysia, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Education (Teaching Arabic as a Second Language). He has previously served as a trainee teacher and substitute teacher in three primary and secondary schools in Sabah and Selangor. Upon joining the Federal Education Service in October 2018, he worked as a teacher at SMK Tansau, Penampang, until December 2021.

He first ventured into the field of literature in 2009. Since then, dozens of his literary works have been successfully published in local newspapers in Sabah. He has also successfully published an academic article in the international indexed journal of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2018.

He has been a member of the Sabah Writers Association since July 2011 and has served as its honorary representative. In addition, he has been a member of the International Islamic Literature League of Malaysia since December 2016.
