About Yuliamin Sahirursah Yusop

Born in Kampung Padas Damit Beaufort, Sabah. Holds a Master's Degree in Social Sciences (Communication) from Universiti Malaysia Sabah. Continuing his studies to Diploma in Malaysian Teacher Education Keningau, Sabah. Produce short stories and poems. His latest short story was published in the newspaper called Kisah Bapa (Daily Expres, 10 May 2020). He has published the Duogayad Suang Padas Damit Sabah dictionary: Gayad Bisaya-Gayad Malayu, Gayad Malayu-Gayad Bisaya (2013). Be the winner of the YADIM-BAHASA Short Story Prize - Harian Ekspres 2018/2019 through the Sungai Tulin short story. Often attend various writing workshops. Short Story Writing Workshop (LANGUAGE) under bi,binhan Datuk Jasni Matlani (2018, 2019) and Poetry Writing Workshop under Siti Aisyah Maidin (Jom Sastera, 2017) and Hasyuda Abadi (JY Skills, RuPHA Academy, 2019). Now he serves as a Teacher at Suasa National School, Beaufort Sabah.
