About Mazlianie ML
Born in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, Mazlianie grew up with a love of books and fond memories of visiting her local library with her parents as a young girl.
Her childhood curiosity about rules eventually inspired her to pursue a career in law. She graduated with an LLB (Hons) from the University of Leeds, UK, obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP), and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak, as well as the High Court of Malaya.
She is currently a partner at Messrs Wilson Leong Ong & Lean in Kuala Lumpur and is pursuing a postgraduate degree in Legal Studies.
Beyond her legal career, Mazlianie is actively involved in voluntary work as a committee member of the Sabah English Aspiration Society (SEAS), an organisation that promotes English proficiency among rural pupils in Sabah and across Malaysia. She also aspires to cultivate an interest in reading and an understanding of the rule of law among young minds.
When she is not at work, Mazlianie enjoys appreciating good works of art with her husband and reading books with their two sons.
