About Ruhaini Matdarin

Born on 16th March 1981, Ruhaini Matdarin is a graduate from the Faculty of Finance Management from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Her interest in writing began when she was still a student at Sabah College in 2000, and eventually publishing her own novels seven years later. Her creativity in writing seems to have captivated readers through her style of describing the current situation of what is happening in Malaysia, all while inserting humour and satire. "You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, who had ever been alive." – James Baldwin
