Meet Bryan Paul Lai

Place of Birth : Sandakan, Sabah
Books : The Joy of Life: Land Below the Wind, Glance of Tawau in the Sixties

 


About the Author

Studied at Holy Trinity School from 1950 to December 1950 and recuperated in Wallace Bay Sebatik Island North Borneo from 1951-1952. After that, he continued his studies at Sandakan North Borneo St. Mary from 1953 to 1954, and returned to Holy Trinity School from 1955 to 1962. He worked at Service and Trading Collage Tawau Sabah from 1963 to 1966 and entered the Teacher Training College from 1967 to 1968. From 1969 to 1970, he was assigned to teach at SMK Abdullah Semporna Sabah and was then assigned to teach at SMK Kuhara Tawau Sabah from 1971 to 1983. In 1983, he became the Headmaster at St. Patrick Tawau Sabah until the year 1998. He is now retired and currently residing at Kota Kinabalu Sabah. He has launched his first book "The Joy of Life" (Land Below the Wind) on 29th June 2014 and his second book "Glance of Tawau in the Sixties" on 28th December 2016.
