The Very Hungry Caterpillar

This beautiful story about a caterpillar is titled: “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.” This book is great for little hands of 3rd, 4th, 5th grade and above. Really enjoyable, easily understood, stunning illustration and attractive for young children.
The caterpillar hatches in the morning of Sunday. He likes to eat of fruit on a daily basis from Monday to Friday. He takes one apple on Monday, followed by two pears on Tuesday, three plums on Wednesday, four strawberries on Thursday and five oranges on Friday! And he ate an incredibly large amount of food on Saturday; chocolate cake, pickle, lollipop, and a lot more resulting in a stomach pain.
But the next morning, it would be Sunday again. The caterpillar eats through a green leaf. And after that, he feels better. All the while, that big caterpillar is spinning a cocoon around himself. There, he's been sleeping inside for 2 weeks. Later, the caterpillar appears as a butterfly with wide, beautiful, multi-coloured wings.
This is a great story book as it’s applied in science and offer practical yet well-understood knowledge in learning process. It is like killing two bird with one stone because at the same time, children are receiving stimulation and knowledge.

Extraordinary Magic

Extraordinary Magic. This is an incredible song that brings many thoughts, perspectives and views to those who study. As for me, I've been in love with these songs because it can relate to a lot of things.
Some of the inputs I received via this song is that love is incredible, specially love among family members. The lyrics teach you to love and to see good as you can, regardless of what happens to family members.
Second, it brings me to a deep thought of a broken marriage. As the song says ... "I swear I do, I see extraordinary magic in you." I believe it must be the purpose of marriage, and it is so sad that many cases of divorce have actually taken place today.
Some other essential lyric has a deep message here, like... "So I’ll keep my eyes open, awed and amazed, and if you start to doubt it, I’ll remind you of the million ways" that this is something like a commitment between a couple in a  marriage that they should remember and keep alive.
Or put it simply, this song is about LOVE. Love for your family, your spouse, your friends, and so on.

Fix You

A really great song full of encouragement. The song clearly speaks of loss or letting go, which we can relate to at some point in our lives. Every verse always express a powerful message that can connect to our own personal struggles. The first verse goes like:

“When you try your best but you don’t succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can’t sleep
Stuck in reverse”

This verse is so painful because, in reality, a lot of people are trapped in the reverse, when something doesn't go as they expect or dream. But then look at the third verse which goes like this...

“High up above or down below,
When you’re too in love to let it go,
But if you never try you’ll never know
Just what you’re worth”

This verse is trying to say or encourage us not to give up without trying. The important thing is to keep trying and not giving up.
