Song Title: Dear God Artist: Avenged Sevenfold |
The song was written by M. Shadow, the vocalist for the Avenged Sevenfold group. Behind this song is the sad story of his life unable to leave his lover. They parted ways for months following the Avenged Sevenfold tour to several foreign countries. The song is a heart-wrenching exposition of missing someone and feeling utter loneliness without that person; praying to God to hold them close and care for them. A line in the lyrics of the song, but I left her when I found her expresses regrets for leaving someone just as they get to know them.
Song Title: Sound of silence Artist: Simon & Garfunkel |
It was written by Paul Simon in February 19, 1964. In the making of this song, he really likes to play the guitar in a room as dark as a bathroom that just sounds like water falling from the tap and the sound reflections are heard from the floor tiles. This song talks about the rapid development of technology to improve the quality of life of people at that time so as not to care about the hardships of others.
Song Title: Wind of change Artist: Scorpion |
Construction of the Berlin wall was commenced by the German Democratic Republic (GDR, East Germany) on 13 August 1961. The Wall cut off West Berlin from surrounding East Germany, including East Berlin. In 1989, a series of revolutions in nearby Eastern Bloc countries—in Poland and Hungary in particular—caused a chain reaction in East Germany leading to the fall of the wall. Wind Of Change was published by the rock band, Scorpion, to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall and the uniting of East and West Germany.
